Donate to the Veterans Assistance Foundation
Your financial contribution allows us to provide the programs and services our veterans so desperately need. A minimum of 90% of all donations directly received by VAF will go our veterans and veteran programs. Often, that amount is even higher depending upon bank and credit card charges.
Many of our returning veterans don't receive the services they need, so it's up to all of us to help. Your donation makes a difference in the life of someone who bravely chose to serve our country. No amount is too small. Every donation helps!
There are three ways to make a financial donation to our program:
1. Mail a check directly to: Veterans Assistance Foundation, Inc., 1118 Superior Avenue, Tomah, WI 54660.
2. Call our office direct to donate with a credit card toll free at 866-823-VETS (8387).
3. Donate online using either your credit card or through Paypal. See button below.

The Veterans Assistance Foundation is now a member of the Badgerland Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) and the Combined Federal Campaign of Greater Wisconsin. Our information can be found in the CFC book under Local Independent Organizations and our CFC number is 71109.
I Want to Give In Other Ways
Financial donations are not the only way you can you help! Your donations can help veterans rebuilding their lives; they can often use furniture, appliances, and other household furnishings that are in good condition. Many of our veterans are also seeking employment and need gently worn proper attire. You can email our Resources Coordinator to determine if any of our veterans is looking for apparel in your size. Because VAF is a non-profit agency, all of your donations are tax deductible.

Many of our veterans need the basics for day-to-day life – the things you often purchase for your household are the same things our veterans need too.
Donations come in all shapes and sizes – so to speak; you could purchase an extra box of detergent, extra canned goods, two more bottles of dish soap, an extra box of trash bags, or an extra package of bar soaps when you do your own shopping. We have drop off points where you can leave your donations and we will distribute them to veterans living in VAF housing.

Personal Care Items:
Toothbrushes\holders, toothpaste, dental floss, dental adhesive, toilet paper, medicated powder, disposable razors, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, brushes, Combs, shaving cream, bar soap , liquid hand soap, Kleenex, denture brushes, denture cleaner, denture holders, deodorant, bath towels, washcloths, fingernail/toenail clippers, soap containers.
Laundry Items:
Fabric softener sheets, laundry soap, laundry bags, sewing kits, clothes hangers
Recreational Items:
Model kits, craft kits, phone cards, gift cards, board games, crossword puzzles, pens, pencils, envelopes, stamps, stationery, books, greeting cards, bicycles
Clothing:
Use clothing in good condition, house slippers, white T-shirts all sizes, underwear (all sizes), socks (all sizes), tennis shoes, shower shoes (all sizes)
Household Supplies:
twin sheets, twin blankets, pillows. kitchen supplies to include pots, pans, dishes, silverware and baking dishes, twin beds, living room and dining room furniture
Food:
Nonperishable food items. Some perishable foods keep items can be accepted cookies, cakes, donuts, fruit and vegetables.

Drop-off times: 8 a.m. to 5 pm Monday through Friday
Many of the homes and properties we are able to purchase need repair or refurbishing... everything from paint to plumbing to landscaping. We could use your help!
We also have events that require trained VAF volunteers to help us with community outreach and fund-raising. Even just telling your friends about VAF helps us to raise awareness about our work. (Click here to Like us on Facebook)
